Graham
took up the guitar in 1965 at the age of 9 and has
been a part of the Kentucky/Tennessee music scene since the 70’s. He has a wide
variety of musical interests ranging from classic rock, progressive rock,
blues, and more recently folk, Celtic, and Irish music. Graham enjoys playing a
number of stringed instruments such as: electric and acoustic guitar and bass,
dulcimer, mandolin, and bouzouki. After retiring from his “Real Job” with a
local electric utility in January 2002 he’s been able to pursue his love of
music fulltime.
Marc
Owens
Born in Bowling
Green, KY, Marc started playing drums at 10. Pretty much self-taught, he was in
numerous local bands, including Sgt. Arms, which included Bill Lloyd of RCA
records recording artists Foster and Lloyd. Marc played on some of their early
demos and was touring drummer for F&L’s 1987-88 tour seasons. Since 1980 he
has operated his own recording studio, recording mostly local artists including
Government Cheese and some Nashville artists and songwriters including Bill
Lloyd and Tommy Womack, and demos for David Ball and Chris Carmichael. Marc
also plays drums on Bill Lloyd pop record releases.
In 1992 Marc
was tour production manager for Giant Records recording artist, Dennis Robbins
who wrote “Two of a kind, working on a full house” for Garth Brooks. And in
1993 he was tour production manager for Clay Walker, another Giant Records
artist.
Presently Owens
is very involved in praise and worship music at Hillvue Heights Church in BG
KY, playing drums, running FOH sound, and recording and producing CD projects
for the church.
Derek
Mitts
Derek
Mitts has been playing guitar for 13
years. His influences include the likes of; Slash, Eddie Van Halen, Stevie
Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Johnson, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani.
Playing many diverse styles of music, he has been featured on several local
recording projects playing; rock, pop. R&B, and hip hop. Derek has
worked in music retail in Bowling Green for the past 8 years. Helping
other musicians find the right gear for the job and making sure their equipment
is in top working order. The past 4 years Derek has been playing at
Hillvue Heights Church in Bowling Green. There, he has been a part of the
music ministry, and has been involved in several of Hillvue's musical
projects.
